Brooke Ellen Mills was born on December 21, 2004 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. She weighed 6 lbs 15 oz and was 21 3/4 inches long. Brooke was born with a heart condition called transposition of the greater arteries which required her to have open heart surgery at seven days old. Brooke is now home and doing very well. A Very Special Thank You

We would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers throughout Brooke's surgery and recovery. We are very fortunate to have relatives, friends, neighbors and co-workers who are so caring.

We would also like to thank all of the doctors and nurses at Methodist Hospital and Children's Hospital. The quality of care we received during Brooke's delivery, surgery and recovery was amazing. There will always be a special place in our hearts for you.
