What seed do you have available today?
The native grass seed we have ready for shipment is listed on the inventory page. For each lot available we list the seed type, overall purity, germination, tz and copies of lab tests. The inventory also shows when out-of-stock seed is expected to be available.

How do I place an order ?
You can contact us to request a variety and quantity of seed. We normally have very large quantities available, so no order is too big or too small. Our prices are determined by order quantity and market conditions. There may be price discounts available for ordering more than one variety of seed.

Do you sell to individual landowners or just to seed dealers?
Yes and no. C & H Mills Farms, Inc. prides itself on the high quality of its seed by focusing on growing and harvesting the seed. We do not sell directly to landowners, but can refer you to dealers near you who can sell you our seed.

Why should I buy certified grass seed?
When you buy seed from C & H Mills Farms, you know exactly what you are getting! For seed to be certified it is required to be the progeny from foundation or registered seed, it must be inspected each year during the growing process by a state inspector, it can only cleaned by certified seed conditioners and must be tagged and sold following certified seed rules. Certified seed ensures your seed has been grown and handled in a way that maintains genetic purity and identity.

We will ship seed to any seed company, dealer or nursery in the U.S. or Canada.

What is the price of your seed?
All prices can be negotiated between C & H Mills Farms and the purchaser based on variety, quantity and current market conditions. There may be price discounts available for ordering more than one variety of seed. View our current inventory then contact us for a detailed price quote.

Do you contract seed sales for future years?
Yes, we can contract specific varieties and possibly even quantities. However, each growing season is different so purity is not known until the seed has been cleaned and tested. It is best to keep in contact with us throughout the summer and fall so we can keep you informed about our available seed projections.
